Starting a On-Line Temple
Last night I decided that it was time to start my on-line temple. The next step will be to become a physical temple. Don't know when that will happen but it will happen. I have faith that the gods will lend a way for that to happen. Of course the road to becoming one will be a long one but a test if I can actually do this. I will update and of course go back to doing my video rituals. I hope that you'll enjoy the future videos that I will be doing and planning.

Libations to Hephaestus (2020)
I came home early and decided to do my libations to Hephaestus. Hephaestus is the Greek god of the forge and crafted many wonderful things for both gods and mortals. He was the one that gave humans the idea to build things. He's sometimes the son of Zeus and Hera and sometimes he's just the son of Hera.

Here are some facts about this god.
He had his own palace on Olympus where he made many clever inventions and automatons of metal to work for him. Hephaestus’s ugly appearance was the reason Zeus chose him to marry Aphrodite, but despite this she had many affairs with both gods and men.
In one story, Hephaestus builds a tricky invention which catches Aphrodite laying with the Ares, the god of war, trapping them both in the bed to be laughed at and ridiculed by the other gods.
He is similar to Athena in his giving skill and help to mortals – in his case artists. It was believed that Hephaestus taught men the arts alongside Athena. However, he was also considered far inferior to that of the goddess of wisdom.
Have a good one.

Greek God of Fire and Metalworking
Hephaestus was the god of fire, metalworking, stone masonry, forges and the art of sculpture. He was the son of Zeus and Hera and married to Aphrodite by Zeus to prevent a war of the gods fighting for her hand. He was a smithing god, making all of the weapons for Olympus and acting as a blacksmith for the gods.He had his own palace on Olympus where he made many clever inventions and automatons of metal to work for him. New Blog, New Life
Last month, on the fifth, my mother passed away. It has been a hard month and I wouldn't wish this on anyone. I started to practice Hellenism about eight years ago and the thing that really kept me from doing it fully was my mother. She was very anti-pagan and didn't like anything that wasn't Christian or Jewish. Now that I'm free to practice I've decided to start this blog.
This is for my Hellenic practice and I'm very happy to be able to have this blog. I do hope that you enjoy your time here and thanks for reading.
